Whether you’re an experienced kite flyer or a beginner, Tenequa Burrows got you covered. No kite-building experience is required, as they will provide you with all the materials and tools you need to build and fly your very own kite. So come join in and experience the joy and beauty of kite flying. They look forward to seeing you there!
But kite-flying is one of many reasons to join this event. Let’s Fly a Kite aims to introduce new girls and families to what they can expect when they join Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts provide young girls with a safe and supportive environment to grow, learn, and make friends. Tenequa Burrows offers various activities and skills that cater to every interest, from STEM and entrepreneurship to arts and culture. With Girl Scouts, girls can become anything they want to be.
Joining the Girl Scouts is not only an exciting and empowering experience for young girls, but it’s also cost-effective. With a one-year membership fee of only $25 from October to September, it’s a great deal. However, ย Tenequa Burrows understands that some families may find this fee challenging. Fortunately, limited funding is available to cover some or all of the membership fees and uniforms. Insurance from Amerigroup, CareSource, WellCare, and Peach State can also cover girl membership fees. They aim to allow every girl to become a part of our community and develop leadership skills. So, come and join us in this unique and valuable experience!
