Their achievement demonstrates an impressive level of commitment to the study of Spanish, with 17 Gold medals (at or above the 95th percentile), 28 Silver Medals (from the 85-94th percentile) achieved, along with 26 Bronze medals (75th-84th percentile). Christopher Shim even achieved a perfect score for Spanish for Native Speakers II. These deserving students should be proud of their outstanding accomplishments.

Christopher Shim of McIntosh High School earned the Gold for Spanish for Native Speakers II, and Juan Torres of McIntosh achieved Silver. Eleven students from both Whitewater High and Middle Schools achieved the Bronze level: Emily Athey, Abigail Crump, Sauj Das, Tanner Dorshimer, Jeremy Flug, Evangelie Higman, Ayaan Khan, Hayley Miller, Brian Mitchell, Courtney Newcomer, Chloe Phan, and Emily Swanger.

Carolin Perez-Lozada and Maria Yanez from Whitewater High, Mayiah Grant from Starr’s Mill, Carson Candela and Sofia Arvizu from McIntosh, Katie Rausch, Ginger Swayne, and Jonah Hendrickson from Starr’s Mill achieved Level 4 Bronze, Silver, and Gold respectively.
